Mrs. Reesie B. Wells
Homemaker and artist

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Reesie B. Wells, 71 of Thomson, entered into rest February 19, 2007, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Gene Wells.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. Wells was born in Walhalla, S.C., and was the daughter of the late Dewey Crowe and the late Gertrude McCall Crowe. She was a homemaker and an artist. Mrs. Wells was also a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include: husband, Judge Gene Wells, Thomson; sons, Tom Wells and his wife Krista, Thomson, Steve Wells and his wife Tracy, Dearing; brothers, Kenneth Crowe- Sylva, N.C., Kine Crowe, Brevard, N.C., Wade Crowe, Murphy, N.C., Grant Lee Crowe-Anderson, S.C.; sisters, Ruth Gibson, Sylva, N.C., Ione Extine, Cashiers, N.C., Diane Taylor, Cairo, Egypt; grandchildren, Hollis Wells, Brittany Wells, Kate Wells, Tommy Wells and Victoria Wells.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
