A legacy honored

Springfield Baptist Music Director James Isom was honored this weekend by a series of events surrounding his retirement after 43 years of service in that capacity. Hundreds attended a banquet held in the Thomson First Baptist Church fellowship hall Saturday night which included music, poetry and proclamations thanking him for his service.
