WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Albert Carter entered into rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 27, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Warrenton. Rev. Issiah Eberhart officiating. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery in Thomson.
Mr. Carter was a conductor with CSX Railroad for 30 years.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Mary Lois Carter; two daughters, Giovanni (Brian) Wallace of Augusta and Ashley Carter, Warrenton; one son, Jemel Carter, Warrenton; two grandchildren, Auvia and Brice; his mother, Eva Lou Carter; three sisters, Annie WingField, Susie Kate Carter and Lois Jackson; five brothers, Jimmy Carter, Louis Carter, Warrenton, John Carter, Thomson, Arthur Carter, Atlanta and James Carter; a host of relatives and friends.
Dawson's Mortuary of Warrenton was in charge of funeral arrangements.
