Miss Ashley Nicole Battle Senior, Thomson High School THOMSON, Ga.- Funeral services for Ms. Ashley Nicole Battle, 18, of Thomson, were held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Paynes Baptist Church in Mesena with Rev. Lester Woods, officiating. Interment was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Ashley was born in Richmond County and was currently a senior at Thomson High School. She was also a member of the Paynes Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Survivors are her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Ricky (Kathy) Battle, Sr., three brothers, Rev. Ricky Battle, Jr., Anthony Battle and Tavarus Battle all of Thomson, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Janie Carlton of Thomson; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Burley of Warrenton; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
