THS' top teachers January Gracie Costello Gracie Costello is the January Teacher of the Month for THS. Mrs. Costello, who is the math department co-chair, teaches a wide variety of learners, including at-risk students and calculus pupils. Despiteteaching several different courses, she makes time to tutor studentsbefore and after school and to offer assistance to other teachers, allwhile maintaining a positive attitude. December Stacey Amerson Thomson High School's December Teacher of the Month, Stacey Amerson, serves as the co-chair of the special education department. As such, she assists with the coordination of testing and scheduling for special needs students. She teaches practical life skills to her students by having them assume roles in the school.
