WRENS, Ga. - Mrs. Kate Clements Rogers, 85, of Russell Street, entered into rest Feb. 29, 2004, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Wrens Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bill Deacons and Rev. Race Lariscy officiating. Burial was in the Wrens Memorial Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John Lewis Rogers and a great granddaughter, Chelsea Cowart.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Wrens Baptist Church and a member of the Agnes Martin Sunday School Class. She had retired from the Civil Service where she had served for 22 years.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Byrd and Fran Rogers, Thomson; two daughters and son-in law, Katie Lou and Lewis Hoats, Thomson, and Carolyn Cowart, Wrens, seven grand children and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Raley Clements, Robert Clements, Paul Clements, Ralph Roger, Emory Clements and Michael Rogers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Agnes Martin Sunday School Class.
