WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Lewis Holliman, 62, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 29, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Renew and Rev. Bobby Renew officiating. Burial was in the Adams Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Holliman was a native of Richmond County, but had lived in Warrenton for several years. He was a retired heavy machine operator and a member of the Dearing Full Gospel Church. He was a Navy Veteran. He loved hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Wilbur and Carolyn Russell Holliman, a sister, Mozelle Tankersley, and a brother, Lynn Holliman.
He is survived by his two sons, Steve Holliman, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mike Holliman, Dearing; four sisters, Juanita Johnson, Thomson, Clara McNair, Harlem, Ann Bloodworth, Milledgeville, and Linda Fransworth, Beaumont, Texas; three brothers, Wilbur Holliman, Jr., Harlem, Larry Holliman, Las Vegas, and George Holliman, Dearing; and five grandchildren, Ty Holliman, Steve Holliman, Austin Holliman, Megan Holliman, and Skyler Holliman; and a special friend, Linda Boyd.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
