DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Charles Junior Dixon, 48, beloved husband of Mrs. Diane W. Dixon, of Randall- Hunt Road, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick DeVane officiating. Burial was in the Loco Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Mr. Dixon was a native of Lincoln County, but had recently moved to Dearing. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Diane W. Dixon, Dearing; three daughters, Charlene Dianna Dixon, McCormick, S.C., Crystal D. Dixon, Wrens, and Brandy Melissa Dixon, Dearing; a son, Charles Bobby Ranson Dixon, Dearing; his mother, Irene Whitley, Lincolnton; four sisters, Margaret Fortson, Mary LaGrone, and Earline Spires, all of Lincolnton, and Geraldine Widvey, Aiken, S.C.; and a brother, Bobby R. Dixon, Grovetown. Pallbearers were Charles Johnson, Alan LaGrone, Charlie Johnson Jr., Jason Dixon, Matthew Dixon, and Ricky Smith Jr.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
