Mr. George Thomas Lamb
WEST GREEN, Ga. - Mr. George Thomas Lamb, 65, of West Green, Ga., passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at home after a brief illness.
Mr. Lamb, a native of Glynn County, Ga., was born October 5, 1940, son of the late George Brinson and Mary Lou Nugent Lamb. He was a retired diesel mechanic and a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include, wife, Janet Poupard Lamb, West Green; son, Rob Lamb; daughter, Katherine Bierner, Thomson, and sister, Elaine Maddax, Rome, and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held 5 p.m., March 4, 2006 at Harlem United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Vest officiating.
