Helping out a friend with soldier research

Tom Holley of Thomson asked me to elicit your help in a project he is working on. I have mentioned Tom in several past articles because he as written two excellent books on the Confederate soldiers from this area. The first book covers the company known as Ramsey Volunteers and the second one covers the Thomson Guards. Tom is now working on the third book in the series which covers the Hamilton Rangers. These three companies were the three that were mustered in this area.
Tom has put together a complete muster roll of all the soldiers that served in the Hamilton Rangers. We have set up a web page with the list. Tom would like you to take a look at the list to see any of your ancestors on there. If you have any information at all about these men, contact Tom. He is especially interested in any old photographs, letters, diaries or genealogies of these men.
