DEARING, Ga.- Entered into rest Friday, March 5, 2004, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta, Mr. Lawrence E. Clark, 73, husband of Jennell Kitchens Clark, of McCorkle Drive, Dearing.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 7, 2004 at 2 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Todd Upchurch officiating. Interment was in Bellevue Memorial Gardens near Grovetown.
Mr. Clark, a native of McDuffie County, was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and had retired from International Paper Company. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Eddie and Sylvia Clark of Locust Grove, Ga.; a daughter, Kathy and Ray Quesenberry, Panama City, Fla.; one brother, Wyman Clark, Dearing; one sister, Ruth Clark, Dearing. Grandchildren are Steven Gabbard, Jim Clark, Melissa Gabbard, Kristi Clark, Casey Quesenberry, Kristy Quesenberry, Michelle Quesenberry.
Pallbearers were Jim Slaughter, Franklin Jones, Jack McCorkle, Mike Phillips, Darrell Treadwell and J.B. Key.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
