Ms. Barbara Oliphant Hefner

THOMSON, Ga.- Ms. Barbara Oliphant Hefner, 53, of Whiteoak Road, died Saturday, March 6, 2004.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 9, in the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Holbrook officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Hefner was a native of Jefferson County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a material manager at Augusta Coating and Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Ways Baptist Church but had been attending New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Marijane Hefner and Heather Warner, both of Thomson; her sister, Dianne Norris, Thomson; four brothers, Jack Oliphant, Jr., Thomson, Tommy Oliphant, Warrenton, David Oliphant, Thomson and Billy Oliphant, Grovetown and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Robert Renew, Steve Smith, Andrew Swan, Newt Swan, Patrick Ivey and Charles Weisner.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
