Mr. and Mrs. Peter Joseph Batrous III of Thomson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Hannah, to Donald Harold DeMore, III, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Harold DeMore, Jr., of Harlem.
Hannah is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Adams of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Batrous of Hoover, Ala.. She is a 2003 graduate of Briarwood Academy and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science degree in education. She is employed by Briarwood Academy as a high school math teacher. She coaches the varsity girls softball team and the junior varsity girls basketball team and assists with the varsity girls basketball team.
Donny is the grandson of Mrs. Susie Bussell and the late Kenneth Bussell of Bullard, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald DeMore of Lizella, Ga. He is a 2004 graduate of Briarwood Academy and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management at Augusta State University. He is employed as a nuclear technician at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro.
The wedding is planned for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez.
