DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Charles "C.J." Joyner, 69, husband of Mrs. Mary "Shara" Joyner, entered into rest March 7, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10, 2008, at 1 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Fire Dept. Chaplain Capt. Tommy Cox officiating. Interment was at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Joyner was born in Augusta and was a former firefighter with the Augusta/Richmond County Fire Dept.
Survivors include wife, Mrs. Mary "Shara" Joyner, Dearing; three daughters, Deborah Jean Rowland, Augusta, Donna Lynn Moore, Hephzibah, and Lekeshia Shea Menendez, Dearing; three brothers, Bobby Joyner, Augusta, Moe Joyner, Augusta, and Ronnie Joyner, Belvedere, S.C.; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Sam Partan, Harmon Brown, Tommy Pritchet, Herbert Terry, and Ricky Dudai. Honorary Pallbearers were members and retired firefighters with the Augusta/Richmond County Fire Deptartment.
