Ansleys to gather locally for reunion From Staff Reports The Ansley Family Association will hold its annual reunion on March 24, 25, and 26. The activities will begin on Friday, March 24, at 6 p.m. with fun, food and fellowship at the McDuffie Museum Building on Main Street in Thomson. Saturday's events include a business meeting at 9 a.m. followed by a program presented by Epp Wilson, member of the Museum Development Committee. Tours planned for the afternoon feature the Watson-Brown Foundation House, birthplace, and gardens located at 310 Tom Watson Way from 2-3:30 p.m. and the 1810 Country Inn and Winery at 254 North Seymour Dr. from 4-5:30 p.m. A catered banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. The historic Rock House circa 1785 will also be open to the public during the weekend. The reunion will conclude with a non-denominational church service at Wrightsboro Church in McDuffie County on Sunday, March 26, at 10 a.m. The reunion is open to all persons of Ansley heritage.
