Mrs. Katie Wells Overstreet

GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Katie Wells Overstreet, 82, entered into rest Sunday, March 12, 2006, at the Gibson Health & Rehabilitation Center, Gibson.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Layman Lewis Wells officiating.

Mrs. Katie was a native of Glascock County and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Willie E. Overstreet of Thomson; three daughters, Mary Ann Trotter of Augusta, Bonnie L. Morris of Beech Island, S.C., and Betty Ruth; three brothers, John Willie Wells of Alma, George Wells of Baker, La., and Lewis Wells of Gibson; three sisters, Mary Usry of Gibson, Florrie Arrington and Twin Falls, Idaho, and Rendia Kent of Collinsville, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson, was in charge of arrangements.
