Free gun locks on March 21

Project ChildSafe, a national program dedicated to the prevention of child-related gun accidents will be visiting the McDuffie County Sheriff's Department on March 21 to give away cable-style gun locks and educational material on gun safety.
The gun lock giveaway is funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Justice. Project ChildSafe hopes to distribute over 855,000 gun locks across the state.
