Mr. Charles "Chuck" O. Wells

DEARING, Ga.- Entered into rest Monday, March 15, 2004, Mr. Charles " Chuck" O. Wells, 57, husband of Billie Jean Cornelius Wells, of Neals Mill Road, Dearing.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Dearing Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael Timmerman, Rev. David Harbeson, and Mr. Darrell Wells officiating. Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery, Thomson.

Mr. Wells, a native of Lithonia, Ga., was a mechanic for Fleming Tire and Wheel and an Army veteran of Korea. He was a deacon and member of Dearing Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Cornelius Wells; his mother Mary Wells, Thomson; two sons, David Wells, Dearing, and Ryan Wells, Arlington, Tx.; one brother, Bill Wells, Augusta; one sister, Sandy Kitchens, Augusta; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Gheesling, Larry Zimmerman, George Holliman, Lem Brooks, Kristopher Wells, and Pete Bales.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Dearing Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay For Life c/o Dearing Baptist Church, PO Box 278, Dearing, Ga., 30808

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
