Last week, the Thomson Middle School Soccer Dogs improved their record to 3-0.
In a match shortened due to weather, the Dogs defeated the Wrens Colts 1-0.
The defense, led by Chris Harrison and Matt McEver, helped goalie Stedman Grant preserve the shut-out. Late in the second half, Casey Brooks followed her own shot on goal, got the rebound, and kicked in the only goal of the game.
On Saturday, March 13, the Thomson Middle School Soccer Dogs improved their perfect record to 4-0 by defeating Washington County in Sandersville.
In the 1-0 victory, Mark Howard scored the TMS goal with an assist from "Pop" Chambliss. The TMS defense held their opponents to only two shots on goal.
