TMS Soccer Dogs continue perfection

Last week, the Thomson Middle School Soccer Dogs improved their record to 3-0.

In a match shortened due to weather, the Dogs defeated the Wrens Colts 1-0.

The defense, led by Chris Harrison and Matt McEver, helped goalie Stedman Grant preserve the shut-out. Late in the second half, Casey Brooks followed her own shot on goal, got the rebound, and kicked in the only goal of the game.

In the 1-0 victory, Mark Howard scored the TMS goal with an assist from "Pop" Chambliss. The TMS defense held their opponents to only two shots on goal.
