Hadden weds Rabun in October ceremony

Crystal Lynn Hadden and Gary DeWayne Rabun, Jr., were united in marriage October 6, 2007, 3 p.m. at the Bowden-Johnson House in Thomson. The late Judge Gene Wells of Thomson officiated the ceremony.

The bride was given away by her father Tony Hadden.

Maid of honor was Brandi Benton of Thomson, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Holly Ivie of Dearing and Krystal Cobb of Cartersville, both friends of the bride, and Taylor Rabun of Thomson, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Haley Gunby of Thomson, cousin of the bride, and Payton Duncan of Cartersville, friend of the bride.

Best man was Gary Rabun of Thomson, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Kyle Rabun of Dearing, brother of the groom and Clay Johnson and David Wyatt, both of Thomson and friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony a reception was held under a tent at the Bowden-Johnson House. The couple left for a honeymoon to Nassau, Bahamas. They are now living in Thomson.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and Lora Hadden of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of Mildred Pitstick of Thomson, David Pitstick of Thomson, the late Buck Wade of Thomson, the late Connie Hadden of Gibson and Billy Hadden of Gibson.

The groom is the son of Gary Rabun and Tabbie Austin and Mike and Becky Edmunds, all of Thomson. He is the grandson of Ann Gay and Herman Gay, both of Harlem and Jerry Whitaker and Carol Whitaker, both of Thomson. He is the great-grandson of Walter and Mary Rabun of Thomson.
