APPLING, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Eleax Benning, 57, of Appling, were held on Friday March 16, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Roscoe Perry officiating, Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Benning, Hephzibah; two sons Steven Benning, Lincolnton, and Ellis Benning, Augusta; a daughter Qualisa Benning-Jones, Hilton Head, S.C.; mother, Willie Mae Benning, Lincolnton; four brothers, Henry Benning,Jr., Robert W. Benning both of Appling, Walter Benning, Lincolnton and Noble Benning, Thomson; two sisters Rosa Lee Reid, Dearing and Lear Bell Tutt, Lincolnton; eight grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
