Garden club celebrates 50 years

Pine Needle Garden Club celebrated its 50th Anniversary Tuesday at the Depot, with approximately 75 members, past members, and distinguished guests Dollie Harper, Garden Club State President, Suzanne Wheeler, District Director and Mayor Bob Knox in attendance.

"I declare Tuesday, March 21 as Pine Needle Garden Club Day," Mayor Knox said. "I want everybody to pause and think about the work Pine Needle has done to make Thomson a better community."
