WASHINGTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Rosemary Hill Harris, 74, died Wednesday at her home.
Mrs. Harris was born in Augusta, and lived in Wilkes County all her life. She was the widow of Troupe Mercer Harris, Jr., and the daughter of the late Baron Hill and Mildred Irvin Hill. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Washington Women's Club.
Graveside services were held at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Albert Huych and Dr. John Childers officiating.
Pallbearers were C.H. Randell, Jr., Allen Burton, W.L. Burton, Jim Burton, Chandler Harris and Bob Guin.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Troupe Mercer Harris, III and wife, India, and David Irvin Harris and wife, FiFi, all of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cornelia Johnson of Washington and Blanche Dixon of Athens and six grandchildren, Chandler Harris, Kendrick Harris, Blake Winfrey, Adam Winfrey, Ashlyn Winfrey and Craig Mauldin .
