THOMSON, Ga. -- Mrs. Ogle Todd Hinton, 78, of Thomson, entered into rest March 16, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
Mrs. Hinton was born in Glascock County, but lived in Jefferson County and McDuffie County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. The family said she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband for 26 years, Tommy Lamar Hinton, Thomson; children, Nancy Todd Fuller (Johnny), Augusta, Marie Todd Lillard (Brad), Hephzibah, Ricky Todd (Denea) Augusta; grandchildren, Lisa Harnil, Amy Goodman, Katherine Smith, Amber Sammons, Eryn Todd and Master River H. Todd; great-grandchildren, Master Robert T. Lillard, Jaime Smith, Savannah Goodman, Molli Lillard and Hadley Goodman; stepchildren, Tammy Reese, Thomson, Sgt. Tommy Hinton, Ft. Campbell, Kent.; step-grandchildren, Robert R. Reese III, Megan Reese, Nicholas Reese, Skylar Dingus, Savannah Hinton and Shalynn Hinton.
Mrs. Hinton was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clyde Parrish Milburn; her husband, Alvin "Preacher" Todd; a brother, Terrell Milburn and a sister, Janice Chalker Johnson.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin, officiating. Interment followed in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
Pallbearers were Mark Hamil, Glen Sammons, Randy Goodman, Lee Smith, Tommy Hinton and Robert Lillard.
