Karen May of Thomson and Ted May of Warrenton announce the engagement of their daughter, Kori Anne May of Thomson to Russell Langham of Thomson, the son of Elaine Langham and the late John Langham both of Thomson.
Kori is the granddaughter of James & Ann Callaway of Thomson, Georgia May of Thomson and the late James & Shirley May of Thomson.
She is a 2002 Graduate of Thomson High School. She participated in the Thomson band program for seven years, a TMS Majorette and a four-year member of the THS Bulldog Brigade. Kori is a private tutor and a student at Augusta State University, majoring in interrelated special education.
Russell is the Grandson of Virlyn and Joan Neal of Thomson and Robert and Nancy Langham of Thomson.
He is 1998 Graduate of Thomson High School and a 2000 Graduate of Spartanburg Technical College. Russell and Jason Brooks placed first in the 1998 Georgia State Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills Automotive technology competition, and they placed fifth in the national Ford AAA Student Auto Skills Challenge the same year. Russell is currently enlisted in the United States Air Force and has been assigned to Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 3 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Second Baptist Church in Thomson.
