Mr. Joe Wood THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Joe Wood, age 70, of Railroad Street, Thomson, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, in the Thomson Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were held graveside 2 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2004, at Jackson Memorial Cemetery in Jackson with Rev. Hubert Story Jr. officiating. Mr. Wood was a native of Ellington, S.C., and a retired gardener and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Huff and is survived by one sister, Mae Young of Thomson; three brothers, Job Wood of Thomson, Bob Wood of Duluth, Ga. and Frank Wood of Norcross, Ga.
