Mrs. Willie "Aunt Ethel" McAlister THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Willie "Aunt Ethel" McAlister, 98, of Wrens Hwy, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held Saturday, March 20, 2004, in the Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. John Biggs officiating. Mrs. McAlister was a native of Gainesville, Ga., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was retired from the Textile Industry and was of the Holiness Faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Mr. Benjamin "Jack" Gossit, Shemis. Survivors include a great-niece, Virginia Langham Lane, Thomson and many more great-nieces and great-nephews.
