Mistletoe State Park plans family activities for Masters Week

Mistletoe State Park is giving families the opportunity to get out, get dirty, and get fit during Masters Week.

On April 8, 10, and 12, families will vie for prizes as they test their skills at games and survival techniques. Activities will be listed according to difficulty in order to challenge parents and children age 5 to 18.

Families may compete one or all three days. Points will be given for participation and timed events, and the team with the most points wins. Teams must have at least one parent participating. All ages may participate in each activity. Younger children may prefer the Game Day, while older children and teens may prefer Adventure Day.

For details and to request a family registration form, call the park at (706) 541-0321 or e-mail Mistletoe_park@dnr.state.ga.us. Participants must register for Birdhouse Building and Kite Making no later than April 4.
