THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Charles Wright, Sr., 82, entered into rest March 22, 2008.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Renew officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Dustin Wright, Jason Wright, Chris Heard and Wes Sullivan.
Mr. Wright was born in Douglasville, Ga., and was the son of the late Charlie W. Wright and the late Lucille Taylor Wright. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was retired as a sheet metal fabricator. Mr. Wright was a Baptist.
Survivors include: sons, Charles W. Wright, Jr., Lexington, Ky., Marty C. Wright, Thomson; daughters, Cheryl W. Kemptner, Laguna Nigul, California, Vicki W. Tatum, Louisville, Ky.; brothers, Billie Wright, Thomson, Ronnie Wright, Atlanta, Ga., Gary Wright, Colorado; sister, Sybil Brooks, Conyers, Ga.; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
