THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth Nash Harrison, 83, of Thomson, entered into rest March 21, 2006 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include, husband, Frank Raymond Harrison, Thomson; step-children, Mike Harrison (Melody), Moultrie, Ramona Harrison Lord (Ed), Statham, Ga.; brother, Richard Button, Dallas, Tex.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harrison was born in New York but lived most of her life in Lincolnton, and Thomson. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II. Mrs. Harrison was also a Member of First Baptist Church, Thomson, the Grace Sunday School Class and a member of the Georgia Power Ambassadors.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006 at First Baptist Church with Dr. James Ramsey officiating. Interment was held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2006 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S. C .
Honorary Pallbearers were members of the Grace Sunday School Class.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
