These students will also be recognized by UGA for being in the top 5 percent of their class. They will receive certificates later this spring; UGA calls their award the "UGA Certificate of Merit."

Juniors in the top 10 percent of their class with a combined PSAT or SAT score of 1,100 are eligible for the Erskine Fellows award. The 2005 recipients are Andy Davis, Amber Poss, and Kelly Robinson.

Two young men and two young women from the junior class with at least a high "B" average and a combined score of 1,050 on the SAT or PSAT are eligible for the Presbyterian College Junior Fellow Award. This year's recipients are Andy Davis, Kathy Robinson, Kelly Robinson and Chris Watkins.

The juniors in the top ten percent of their class with a combined score of at least 1,200 on the PSAT or SAT are qualified for the Wofford Scholars award; this year's recipient is Andy Davis.

Amber Johnson was nominated by her teachers for her course work in social studies along with her commitment to understanding difficult social issues and a dedication to community service. She will receive a medallion and certificate in April.
