The Lady Bulldog soccer team is off to a great start. The first game was on February 22 at the Brickyard. The team dominated the Butler Bulldogs during the first half of the game with a 4-0 advantage by halftime. The second half, THS had a burst of energy and went on to win the game with a score of 8-0.
"Although we won, we didn't really play to our fullest, but we have come a long way, win or lose," said TeErika Leaks.
The next game against Lincoln County was the next day. The team played hard but Lincoln County was more competition for the Bulldogs. THS won with a score of 2-1.
"Even though we were on a 'winning streak' we had to keep a good attitude about the rest of the games," said Megan Goldman.
The game against Burke County was an easy win because they forfeited. A few days later, at a game against the Evans Knights, the Bulldogs' defense was not up to team expectations. THS lost 10-0. The next day Cross Creek won with a score of 4-0.
There are several more games before the end of the season.
"I've learned a lot from Coach Ben Daval and for the first time I look forward to going to practice," said Stephanie Gibson.
