Mrs. Lucy M. Long HARLEM, Ga. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy M. Long, of Harlem, were held on Friday, March 25, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. at Water Branch Baptist Church. Rev. L. J. Tankersly officiating. Interment was in Water Branch Memorial Garden. She is survived by her husband, Fred Long, of Harlem; two daughters, Henrietta Lee and Lucy Howard, both of Harlem; a devoted stepson, Melvin Gibson, of Harlem; Fred Jones, of Atlanta; stepdaughter, Emily Leverette, of Appling; six sisters, Helen Bell, of Grovetown, Mary Boyd, of Dearing, Mattie Ramsey, Rosie Raiford, Lorine Scott, Louise Boyd, all of Harlem; six brothers, Walter Dorsey, James Dorsey, Marion Dorsey, Flemming Dorsey, all of Dearing, Alfred Dorsey and Johnny Dorsey, both of Harlem; six grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
