Mr. Julian Fred Brooks, Jr.
Retired dispatcher

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Julian Fred Brooks, Jr., 70, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in the Georgia War Veterans Hospital in Milledgeville.

Funeral services were held Friday March 30, 2007, in the Chapel at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, with Military Honors.

Mr. Brooks was a native of Thomson, a United States Air Force Veteran, and retired from United Technology as a Dispatcher.

He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Fred Brooks, Sr.

He is survived by wife, Barbara Sue Tanner Brooks, of Hendersonville, Tenn., son, Jay Brooks of Hendersonville, daughter, Julie Howell, of Alcoa, Tenn., his mother, Helen Broome Brooks, of Thomson, four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
