WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Clare Wiley Johnson, 94, wife of the late Mr. F. H. "Firecracker" Johnson, entered into rest Sunday, April 1, 2007 at the Warrenton Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Susannah Davis officiating.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Cannon, Thomson, Carolyn (Gene) Smith Warrenton, and Fae (Joe) Shurley, Warrenton, one son, Wiley "Tack" (Polly) Johnson, Warrenton, two sisters, Sallie Holmes, Milledgeville, Ga., and Grace Ray, Lawrenceville, Ga., two brothers, L. B. Wiley, Macon, Ga., and H. D. Wiley, Jackson, Ga., nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dana Duckworth, Dodge Johnson, Randy Johnson, Mark Shurley, Eric Johnson, and Terry Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnson Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Martha Jane Wilhoit, P. O. Box 204 Warrenton, GA 30828.
Lowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
