Mr. James W. Hembree
Retired U. S. Army MSG
THOMSON, Ga. -- Mr. James W. Hembree, 72, of Thomson, entered into rest March 25, 2005 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Erna P. Hembree.
Survivors include his wife, Erna Pfeiffer Hembree, of Thomson and a son, Michael Hembree, of Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Hembree was born in Whitmire, S.C., but lived in Grovetown and Thomson most of his life. He was the son of the late Howard Hembree and the late Ona Wallace Pfeiffer. Mr. Hembree was a retired MSG with the U. S. Army Signal Corps and served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era and was retired from Civil Service after 15 years of service.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2005 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
