Mr. Jerry Don Jones Army retiree THOMSON, Ga.- Entered into rest Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Mr. Jerry Don Jones, 55, of Thomson. Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, 2004, at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C., with full military honors. Mr. Jones, a native of Cherry Point, N.C., was retired from the U.S. Army. Survivors include one son, Scott Jones, Appling; one daughter, Kim Jones, Evans; his mother, Sarah Elizabeth Jones, Beaufort; one brother, Rusty Jones, Beaufort; two sisters, Sharon LeGare and Kathy Dixon, both of Beaufort and three grandchildren.
