Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hinton of Thomson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Thomas Hinton, to Jason Edward Eidson, son of Cynthia Eidson of Appling and Edward Eidson of Augusta. The wedding is planned for May 30, 2008, 7 p.m., at Sharon Baptist Church in Appling.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Victor Dolan and the late John and Beatrice Hinch, all of Catskill Mountains, New York, and Cornilia Hinton and the late Cleon Hinton of Thomson. She is a graduate of Thomson High School and Augusta Technical School and is currently attending South University.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Lula Bell Scoggins and Raymond Autrell Anderson of Augusta and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Eidson. He is a graduate of Greenbrier High School and is currently employed as a lead carpenter by B&T Construction.
