Jody and Steven Paul of Thomson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Paul of Thomson, to Jacob Carnell of Thomson, son of Shirley and Mike Carnell of Thomson. The wedding will be held August 23, 2008, 2 p.m., at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Thomson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marian and Ron Roberts and Doris and Joe Paul. She is a graduate of Augusta State University where she earned a psychology degree with a minor in social work. She is presently employed at Wester's Veterinary Clinic.
The groom-elect is the grandson of A.B. and Dovie Howard and Wilma and William Carnell. He is a graduate of Augusta Tech and is an electrician for Shaw Industries in Thomson.
