DEARING, Ga. -Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ann Embry Smith, 48, of Dearing, was held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Downs officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors: a mother, Jettie Mae Embry, Thomson; three daughters, Jennifer Embry, Celest Embry, both of Thomson and Stephanie Grant, Dearing; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Embry and Bobbie (Reggie) Doughty, all of Thomson; five brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Embry, Ira Embry, Earnest Embry, all of Thomson, Jessie Embry and John Embry, both of Dearing; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
