THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Deacon Johnnie Aldred, 69, of Thomson, were held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at noon at the Poplar Head Baptist Church in Dearing with Rev. Dave Lowe officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Aldred C.M.E. Church cemetery.
Survivors are five daughters, Doris Brown, Dania Fla., Mary (Ed) Phillips, Pompano Beach, Fla., Ann Pearl Aldred, Rebecca Aldred, and Mattie Aldred (Marcus) Jackson, all of Thomson; two sons, Johnny (Angela) Aldred, and Henry (Roberta) Aldred, all of Thomson; one brother, Garfield (Clem) Aldred , Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one sister, Christine Lewis, Dearing, several generations of grandchildren, devoted friends and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
