DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Kye David Guy, Jr., 46, beloved husband of Crystal M. Guy, died Monday April 3, 2006 in the University Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday April 5, in the Iron Hill Advent Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.
Mr. Guy was a native of McDuffie County. He was a retired welder and a member of Iron Hill Advent Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. K.D. Guy, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mrs. Crystal M. Guy, Dearing; a daughter and son-in-law, Clarice L. Beasley and Christopher R. (Chris) Beasley, Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. Kye "David" Guy, III and Misty A. Guy, Dearing; his mother, Laverne Guy, Dearing; a brother, Eddie McGahee, Dearing; three sisters, Linda Price, Harlem, Diane Taylor, Grovetown and Judy Minor, Dearing; grandchildren, Christopher "Robert" Beasley, Jr., Virginia (Ginnie) Marie Beasley, "Kaeliegh" Denise Beasley, "Kyla" Nicole Annis, Kye David Guy IV (Tigger) and Heaven Leigh Guy.
Pallbearers were Lee Sims, Tony Hadden, Bill May, Ernie Beavis, Gyle Workman and Russell "Wade" Minor. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Bohler, Chris Beasley, Richard Hathcock, Jr., Royce "Wayne" Culve, David Guy III and Lee Thaxton, Jr.
