Mr. James "Jim" H. Barrett DEARING, Ga. -- Entered into rest April 10, 2005 at the Georgia War Home, Augusta, Mr. James "Jim" H. Barrett, 79, of Dearing, husband of the late Mrs. Ann Winborn Barrett. Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Westview Cemetery, Augusta, with the Rev. George Freeman officiating. Mr. Barrett was a native of Atlanta and a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a photo engraver. Survivors include three step-children, several nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the McDuffie County Relay for Life c/o First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Thomson, Georgia 30824. Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
