Keith Rush, a 2000 graduate of Thomson High School, is currently chief photojournalist/satellite truck operator with WRDW-TV News 12 in Augusta. Most recently, he spent Masters Weeks covering the tournament for the station.

He got his start in the electronic media by making home movies and then working on the high school news program at age 15. After high school, he graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta.

While at WRDW, Mr. Rush -- who is called Krusher by friends -- has won several awards, including Associated Press Awards for Best Sports Program (2004) and Best Investigative Reporting -- Photojournalist (2003).

He was also recently featured in The Art Institute of Atlanta's alumni publication.

Mr. Rush is the son of Janice C. Rush and Darriek Rush, Sr. and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford, Sr. and Connie Hill, all of Thomson.
