Warren High starts initiative to record WWII stories

Warren County High School recently announced that they will be participating in the Veterans History Project sponsored by The Library of Congress. The Veterans History Project is an attempt to interview and record as many veterans of WWII as possible. The project encourages students to conduct the interviews as a way of relaying a part of the history of the Greatest Generation to the younger generation.Any and all veterans that are interested in participating are encouraged to call Scott Swann at Warren County High School at (706) 465-3742.

Interviews can be conducted either at the veterans home or at the school. Each interview will last forty-five minutes to an hour. All participants will be given a video copy of the interview. A copy will also be sent to the Library of Congress where they will be catalogued and made available to researchers for study.
