THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Amy Lou Crook Kennedy, of Thomson, entered into rest April 12, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Nelson Kennedy.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Lamb officiating.
Mrs. Kennedy was born in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Noah Lee Crook and the late Omie Ruth Goldman Crook. She worked in the Sample Department at Thomson Company and retired after 43 years of service. Mrs. Kennedy was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Kennedy Shelton (Dwight) - Thomson; grandchildren, Danny Shelton (Heather) and Dawn Shelton - all of Thomson; and several nieces and nephews.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
