AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Mamie Lou Bolton entered into rest Friday, April 7, 2006 at University Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Walker officiating. Burial was at Southview Cemetery.
Ms. Bolton was a native of McDuffie County. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Chief of the Usher Board, Pastor's Aide Club and was a member of the Ushers Union of Georgia.
Survivors are two sons, Tommy Bolton, Andrew (Veronica) Bolton, Augusta; two daughters, Mary (Dale) Griffin, Syracuse, Utah, Johnnie Bolton Hyrams, Augusta; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two devoted friends, Cora L. Williams and Clauden Hudson, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
