Mrs. Barbara Tankersley Floyd
THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Tankersley Floyd, 56, of Thomson, were held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. F.C. Henderson, Pastor, officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband of 41 years Mr. Melvin Floyd, Thomson; one daughter, Patricia James of Thomson; three sons, Harold (Brenda) Floyd of Atlanta, Melvin Floyd of Thomson, and Dylan Hobbs of Thomson; father, Mr. J.B. Tankersley of Thomson; five sisters, Geraldine Carrington Bryant of Augusta, Mary (Ray) Pinkston, Diane Huff, Annette Tankersley, all of Thomson, Dannette Tankersley of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, James Tankersley of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
