Thomson Rotary selects Hill, Leaks for as RYLA recipients

The Thomson Rotary Club recently selected Helen Hill and TeErika Leaks as the recipients of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award.

Helen is a rising junior and TeErika is a rising senior at Thomson High School. Helen is the daughter of Steve and Jo Albert-Hill of Thomson. TeErika is the daughter of Michael Webb and Regina Webb of Thomson.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award recognizes rising juniors and seniors and is presented each year by the Thomson Rotary Club to reward outstanding young people with proven leadership skills or strong leadership potential.

This leadership training program is sponsored by Rotary International. The recipient joins approximately 100 other outstanding young people from northeast Georgia, Rotary District 6910, on a four day, all expense paid conference to promote leadership and team building through fun and challenging activities. This year's conference will be held at Tallulah Falls School.
