NORWOOD, Ga. -- Miss Josephine Scott, 78, of Norwood, entered into rest April 16, 2005, at University Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Joseph C. Scott and the late Lena Chapman Scott.
Miss Scott was a lifelong native of Warren County. She was retired as a seamstress and was a driver for the Warren County Senior Citizens Transit System for many years. Miss Scott taught different Sunday School Classes for 25 years and was also a member of Norwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret S. Wilde, Norwood; nephews, Richard Bazal, Tacoma, Wash., Randy Bazal, Boca Raton, Fla., Jackie Bazal, Norwood, Donnie Bazal, Rex, Ga., William H. Moon, Atlanta and R.S. Moon, Huntsville, Ala., and nieces, Kathy Holcomb, Warrenton, Sally Jo Ferguson, Fairburn, Ohio, Martha Ann Lance, Adairsville, Ga and Norma Lee Frank, Snellville, Ga. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Scott and Elizabeth Moon and her brother, Durwood Scott.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Norwood Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Riley, Rev. John Jenkins and Pastor Donnie Bazal officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Norwood Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
